It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Edward Romero, a dear friend of Atlas. When we opened for business nearly 3 years ago we figured that we'd have plenty of friends coming by to shop, hang out, kill time, etc. But we never would have guessed that the talkative old man that lived above the store would become such a fixture at Atlas. Any frequent customer of ours has doubtlessly met Ed on several occasions. They probably knew him by name and almost certainly had their girlfriend flirted with by him. His favorite thing to do was to try to embarrass the employees of the shop by teasing us in front of customers, especially if the customers were attractive women. He always had a joke ready to tell and was the master of bribing us for favors with junk food. Whether we wanted it or not, Atlas had a mascot and it was Ed. You will be missed old friend.
