UNDER THE RADAR PHOTO EXHIBIT RECAP

Last night Atlas hosted the 3rd Stussy x Heel Bruise Under The Radar exhibit. People came from far and wide to see the photography of Joe Brook, Patrick Beaudouin, Tony Manfre, Isaac McKay-Randozzi, Remio, Travis Jensen, Keith Hufnagel and Robbie Jeffers. Limited edition T-shirts, posters and skateboards were available to all that made it out. A huge thanks to Stussy, Heel Bruise and all the artists for making this event happen. TONY MANFRE'S MUSIC

Tony Manfre's skills are not just limited to skateboarding and taking good photos, he's also well versed when it comes to music. Last year, in between travelling on the road, Tony found the time to throw together a collection of tracks all produced on analog synthesizers, samplers and drum machines in his bedroom studio. The heavyweight wool jacket is lined with satin, has snap closures, slant pockets at the hip and a thin felt applique with a merrowed edge on the left chest. The varsity jacket comes in three color ways, is made in the USA and available in limited quantities.

JASON JÄGEL FOR ATLAS

Now available at Atlas in store and online are three decks designed by Jason Jägel exclusively for Atlas.

Emerging from his backyard studio slash record shack Jason Jägel’s drawings and paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally since 1995. A 2008 monograph of his work, Seventy-Three Funshine, includes a ten-inch vinyl record with music by Madlib. Jagel has created record-cover art for Madlib, MF DOOM, Dudley Perkins, among others. His work appears in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The UCLA Hammer Museum and the Portland Museum of Art, among others. In 2012, he was awarded a fellowship from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. His first picture book, Hang Glider & Mud Mask, co-created with Brain McMullen was released in 2012. Jason lives with his wife and two daughters in San Francisco.
